We had rented an apartment in Brussels for 2 weeks and wanted to be able to take day trips throughout the Low Countries. This guide promised to be the answer to our need for useful information. It did provide the basics, but it was very understated in its descriptions and included many locales that simply were not very interesting. On the other hand, there aren’t many such guides to the Benelux nations, so this may be the best one out there. It’s OK, but adventurous travelers will have to do additional research to find the hidden gems.
